King Paluta addresses involvement in Bawumia’s campaign

Ghanaian musician King Paluta recently responded to rumors about his involvement in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's political campaign.

He clarified that his presence alongside Dr. Bawumia on a bus was coincidental and not driven by political motives.

King Paluta aimed to dispel misunderstandings for both his fans and the public, explaining that he attended the event out of respect for Dr. Bawumia's prominent national role, regardless of political affiliation.

"Regardless of his party affiliation, Bawumia is a significant figure and an elder in our country. Should I have ignored his invitation?" King Paluta questioned.

His participation garnered both support and criticism, prompting questions about his alignment with Dr. Bawumia's campaign.

King Paluta addressed these concerns, emphasizing that he did not receive a significant payment for his attendance. Any compensation he received was strictly for covering logistical expenses related to his participation as an entertainer.

"My brand and services are not provided for free, given my role as an entertainer," he emphasized.

Furthermore, King Paluta urged Ghanaians not to associate him with any specific political party based on his appearance at the event.

He asserted his independence and expressed openness to participating in events for various political groups in the future.
