My music career incomplete without Don Jazzy, says D’banj

The singer reflected on two decades of his music journey, emphasizing that these years were marked by camaraderie, entertainment, and steadfast support.

Nigerian artist and rapper Oladapo Oyebanjo, professionally known as "D’banj," expressed gratitude towards his business partner Michael Ajereh, popularly called "Don Jazzy," stating that his 20-year musical odyssey wouldn't have been complete without him. 

D’banj shared a video on his Instagram page, extending an invitation to Don Jazzy for his 20th-anniversary dinner, where he reminisced about the past two decades characterized by brotherhood, entertainment, and unwavering support.


In his message, D’banj highlighted the multitude of memories and achievements they've shared over the years. 

Don Jazzy reciprocated the sentiment in the comments, expressing disbelief that two decades had passed and expressing gratitude for their journey together.

Don Jazzy, a renowned Nigerian record producer and CEO of Mavin Records, co-founded Mo’Hits Records with D’banj in 2004. 


D’banj had previously hinted at celebrating his two decades in the industry with a live performance at the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos, under the theme "D’banj live @New Afrika Shrine."
