Ghanaian man marries U.S lover who said African men are better than American men

A Ghanaian man has married his American partner after finding love across continents. This two lovers have shown that love truly knows no borders.

The couple gained attention after reuniting at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, where the enthusiastic American woman arrived to meet her long-distance partner. She expressed her belief that African men love better than American men.

Their love story has sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users supporting her decision to pursue happiness. 

Mrs. Barbara Forson, the bride, shared her excitement about being in Ghana, saying she feels at home and deeply connected to the country. 

She recalled her first visit to Ghana during a time of personal struggle with drug addiction in the U.S., stating that Ghana helped her overcome those challenges.

Mrs. Forson’s young husband expressed his happiness, noting how blessed he feels to be with his wife.

Barbara also emphasized the importance of not judging Africa based on hearsay, praising African men for their deep, genuine love, which she claims is stronger than what she experienced in America.

Looking ahead, Barbara plans to travel with her husband across Ghana, Africa, and Jamaica, making the most of their time together before “God calls her home.” 


She credits Ghana for saving her life and helping her overcome addiction, stating that African men are good men, in contrast to the negative stereotypes some may hold.


The couple has now officially tied the knot, with photos of their wedding circulating online, receiving congratulations from well-wishers.
