Accra’s National Theatre is set to light up on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 7 PM, as Jeffrey Nortey brings his signature theatrical piece, 3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey, to the city’s cultural center.
Renowned for his unique fusion of acting, comedy, and spoken word, Nortey takes audiences on a compelling mono-dramatic journey, revealing three distinct characters through an evening rich in storytelling, satire, and poetic rhythm.
The production initially premiered at Snap Cinema Hall in collaboration with Focuz Afriq and Kasa Entertainment, where it sold out and drew an overflow crowd of 300. The response proved that Ghanaians are hungry for intimate, story-driven theatre experiences.
More than a simple stage performance, 3 Faces is woven with original music and spoken-word transitions, guiding viewers smoothly from one persona to another. The show’s witty “bars” and sharp punchlines connect especially well with Gen Z, adding bursts of humor to emotionally charged moments.
At its core, each character Nortey embodies reflects different aspects of modern Ghanaian life—from economic pressures and cultural identity to the widening generational gap. It’s more than entertainment; it’s a platform for social commentary and empowerment, particularly resonant among young people and underserved communities.
This year’s edition brings even more star power to the stage. Joining Nortey are top Ghanaian comedians and actors including Jeneral Ntatia, Clemento Suarez, Parrot Mouth, Kojo Pjay, Kalsoume Sinare, Nino Brown, Big Ghun, and Khemikal—each lending their own comedic style to the evening. Audiences can also expect a surprise performance from a major music artist, promising an extra spark of excitement.
Due to rising demand, the production has moved to the larger National Theatre venue, with continued support from Focuz Afriq, Kasa Entertainment, Evivi Ghana, and Fam Global. Tickets are selling fast and can be booked via shortcode 71333*783# on all mobile networks. Prices are GHS 150 (single), GHS 280 (double), and GHS 300 (VIP).
Expect an immersive theatrical night filled with live music—featuring both traditional and modern instruments—and dynamic, character-driven performances. After the show, a post-performance discussion will allow fans to explore the themes and creative process behind the production.
With its powerful blend of artistic forms, rising national acclaim, and all-star comedy lineup, 3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey promises a night of reflection, rhythm, and laughter—an experience not to be missed. Mark your calendars and witness a production that’s redefining contemporary Ghanaian theatre. See you there! 👊🏾✨
