One-year-old Ace Liam from Ghana has been formally presented with his certificate from Guinness World Records.

At just one year old, Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah has achieved an extraordinary milestone, officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the youngest male artist to do so.

This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Dante Lamb, who achieved this feat at the age of three in 2003.

Ace-Liam's remarkable journey to this record began with a notable event in Accra from January 18th to 20th, 2024, leading to his significant recognition.

Chantelle Kuukua Eghan, Ace-Liam's mother and an artist with eight years of experience, expressed immense pride in her son's artistic talents to the BBC. She hopes that he will continue to make a meaningful impact in the art world.

"Ace-Liam has a natural understanding of color blending," shared Ms. Eghan, who observed his artistic inclination when he was just six months old.

To qualify for this world record, Guinness World Records required Ace-Liam to participate in a professional art exhibition open to the public and successfully sell his artwork.

Additionally, his artwork had to meet professional standards, be independently created, and be supported by evidence.

Ace-Liam's artwork was displayed at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra from December to early January, where he impressively sold nine out of ten displayed pieces.

His talent caught the attention of the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, who commissioned a piece during the exhibition.

As Ace-Liam approaches his second birthday in July, he has already sold 15 paintings and is preparing for an upcoming auction, showcasing his remarkable talent at such a young age.
