Agya Koo Addresses Mr Beautiful's Claims That He Sabotaged His Acting Career

In an interview, veteran Ghanaian actor Agya Koo responded to allegations from his colleague Mr. Beautiful, who claimed that Agya Koo sabotaged his acting career.

Mr. Beautiful accused Agya Koo of trying to damage his reputation and push him out of the movie industry. Agya Koo, however, explained that he had maintained a good relationship with Mr. Beautiful, despite these accusations.

In recent interviews, Mr. Beautiful attributed the decline of the Kumawood industry to Agya Koo, alleging that Agya Koo held too much influence over production decisions and conspired with producers, including Miracle Films, to sideline him from roles. 

Agya Koo recalled first meeting Mr. Beautiful when he joined the Kristo Asafo Concert Party show in Kumasi, noting that Mr. Beautiful had little acting experience at the time. 

Agya Koo clarified that he never mistreated or undermined Mr. Beautiful and even maintained a close friendship, with Mr. Beautiful sometimes visiting him at home. He revealed that he had previously chosen not to address these allegations, assuming they stemmed from political differences. 

Agya Koo emphasized that he held no grudges and noted that several producers had defended him, asserting his innocence.
